Hi! Did I mention I love Star Wars!!
“ah, yes, of course that Hornbill is actually esteemed political show host John Oliver!”.
Wow! It’s American Horror Story-o-clock already? Yes, the first trailer for the next season, subtitled 1984, is here, it’s probably pretty queer, and it’s going to be going ahead without Evan Peters. And hey, as your local cynical American Horror Story scholar, I think it’s only right that I take a look at it, right? To the teaser!
The search for a good adaptation of this brilliant book continues
Okay, let’s settle this Ryan Gosling thing once and for all
Ryan Gosling. Either that name has you trying to pre-book tickets or searching for the “x” button on your browser so fast that your fingers start to melt. For some reason, this leading man seems to be one of those most divisive figures in Hollywood today; either you adore his performances in critically acclaimed movies like Drive and Ides of March and can’t wait to see what he does next (like my boyfriend inexplicably does), or you’re baffled by the spoon-faced, goose-named flavour of the month who doesn’t seem to realize that his five minutes of stardom should have finished about four years ago (like I very logically do). So how exactly did a man with only a half-dozen films under his belt come to define decades of blockbuster cinema?
“To me, as the Hulk, Ruffalo seems as though he has been recently awakened from a long nap”
With the second part of the latest Avengers story coming out next month, a heated debate has broken out in the No But Listen household once more: is Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk actually any good? And we figured that the only way to solve it was to yell our opinions, as ever, into the void of the internet, in one of our two-sided signature No But Listen debate articles, and find out what you guys think about our big green PMT machine. To the debate!
For
Until the Hulk was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the big green rage monster had a slightly hit and miss relationship with his live-action representations. There was the extremely popular TV show, in which Bruce was named David for reasons irrelevant to this article, but cool trivia, right? The iconic figure of body-builder Lou Forgino became the symbol of one of Marvel’s most…
